What Is the Key Club?

The Key Club in room 34, advised by Mr. Juan Morillo, dedicates their time to volunteering here at Poly HS, and off-campus, not to making keys as its name would suggest.

Instead, Key Club often volunteers in a collaborative effort with other clubs on campus. For example, the hike to Pacoima Beautiful organized by Ms. Nathan’s Environmental Club is also an event Key Club will be attending.

The hike is from 8:30AM to 3:00PM, and firefighters and national park rangers will be there to talk to students about being nature-friendly and hiking. Reusable plates, utensils, and water bottles will be used to ensure zero-waste, and transportation will be provided by school buses. Field trip slips are required.

Key Club is one of the most active clubs, and hosts their own volunteer work whenever possible. The club is perfect for students wanting to help out their community.
