On, Luis Coronel claimed, “Sometimes a small step in the right direction ends up being the biggest step of your life.” Then, he gave more details about MIT, √mathroots a 14-day summer program exploring creative topics in mathematics. Where students can discover and develop problem-solving skills through a series of classes.

This gives an opportunity for students who want to extend their knowledge about problem-solving skills down the line of their life. Which will be held from June 19th and July 3rd.

Some features they will discuss are creative problem solving outside the standard curriculum, exposure to beautiful yet accessible ideas in mathematics, introduction to techniques and meaning of mathematical proof, an academic and cultural community of like-minded peers, mentors, and instructors according to Coronel’s post.

Applications for this opportunity are on under Coronel post and the deadline is March 13th and students must follow up on application criteria. More information on the
