Ashley Cruz is a senior at Francis Polytechnic High School in Sun Valley and is a writer for the school paper, The Poly Optimist. She likes going out and having fun. She is a very free spirited person who also loves spending time with her family. Family is very important to her. Other than having fun she also enjoys doing art and cooking/baking. Journalism is important to her because she thinks the school paper is a good way to express yourself and make your voice be heard. She plans on using this opportunity by informing students on important and interesting events happening on campus and in our community.
