Kevin Barahona
Kevin Barahona, a senior at John H. Francis Polytechnic High School, is currently working as a staff writer for the Poly Optimist.

When Barahona isn’t at school, he’s skateboarding, running and drawing because the activities require mental focus. By building mental focus, it allows Barahona to improve the amount of information that he can receive in a day.

Although he may have the characteristics of an introvert, he enjoys collaborating with peers.

He’s passionate about learning new ways to improve himself. The main reason for pursuing journalism was to improve his writing’s flow and structure. “Nothing good ever came easy.”
